COMING SOON:

SUMMER PLANS--the worship staff will be dressed comfortably this Summer.  Guys, feel free to join us, putting away your suit coats and ties, until after Labor Day.  ALSO:  our Sunday evening services will be in the Church activity center at 6:00 pm.  Join us for a more casual worship experience with refreshments and good fellowship.  Our Sunday evening worship theme for the Summer is END TIME ISSUES: Eschatology and the return of Christ.

TERRIFIC TUESDAYS have now concluded for this year.   We are grateful to Jackee Smithhart and all the youth volunteers who staffed our TT program this Summer. 

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL is July 26-30, 2010, 9 am to Noon, for children age 3 thru 6th grade.  We had a wonderful VBS last year.  You can use the VBS link on this page to register your children online. 

MENS PRAYER BREAKFAST, Saturday morning, September 11th, 9-11 am.   Special guest is Bert Murch, a deacon from South County Baptist Church.  Bert will exhibit his world class collection of Civil War carbines, and share information about the collection.  He will also share a testimony of his faith in Christ.  All men and boys are invited, and there is no charge for the breakfast.

Welcome to First Baptist Church of Oakville Web site! Please take the opportunity to look around. We offer many services to our members and guests. On this site, information can be found about our ministries, announcements, calendar of events, and more!  You will note that some features do not function from time to time, and occasionally, some event stays on the website too long.  Please excuse us--our site is maintained by volunteers.

We celebrated our 50th anniversary as a Church in 2009.  We are a Southern Baptist Church in the heart of Oakville, in South St. Louis County, and we have Oakville on our hearts.  Our worship style is traditional but relevant (blended), our fellowship is loving, and our passion is sharing Jesus Christ with a world that needs Him.  We maintain an active prayer ministry--please let us know how we can pray for you.

Youth Group Worship & Fellowship 6:30pm (Jr. & Sr. High Youth--year round)

Choir Practice at 8:00pm (All are welcome!)
